Fishing in Bulgaria

There are many lakes in Bulgaria, but most of them prohibited from swimming. They are for fishing mainly but also water sources for the villages and surrounding areas.

You need a fishing licence to fish inland waters but not for sea fishing. There are local fishing stores to re-stock your supplies and many fishing sites to chose from while on vacation.
